Tell me more!

You have questions about our machine gun excursions. All the answers are right here.

What to bring

Bring hearing protection, eye protection, insect repellent, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, and money if you want to buy more machine gun ammo (cash, check, credit card, debt card accepted).

How long does it last

You determine how long your excursion lasts. There is no set time duration for your excursion. Your excursion takes as long as it takes for you to shoot your allocated ammo.

Accessibility

In order to ride in the M923 A2 military transport vehicle, you must be able to climb stairs.

Can I bring my Own Guns?

Yes! For an additional fee you can bring your personal firearms to shoot at the excursion. We ask that you abide by all the rules of firearms safety and that you keep all firearms in a case until you are on the range and have been instructed by a range officer that it is safe to remove your firearms from its case.

Weather

We shoot rain or shine. We have several options for inclement weather. For larger groups we have canopy tents. Another option for smaller groups is to shoot out of the back of our M923 A2 military transport vehicle. Either way, we are going to have a blast!

Our Range

Our range is a private range, not open to the public, and is located in a valley, 60 feet below the elevation of the surrounding area, thus, creating a natural backstop that surrounds the entire range. The range is only accessible via off road capable vehicles. Excursion attendees with trucks are welcome to drive down to the range. As an alternative, attendees are welcome to ride down to the range in our 6 wheel drive M923 A2 military transport vehicle. Targets on the range consist of reactive and non-reactive steel targets, including but not limited to, dueling trees, IPSC silhouettes, and plate racks. When shooting machineguns, we will be located on the 75 yard range, however, we have a 140 yard elevated shooting position for use with precision rifles.

Safety First

Safety is paramount. All shooters are required to go through our safety briefing before shooting. Please familiarize yourself with the rules below before arriving. These rules and additional rules will be discussed during the safety briefing.

  1. All firearms must be pointed in a safe direction down range at all times.
  2. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you are ready to shoot.
  3. If a firearm malfunctions, keep firearm pointed down range and notify the range safety officer.
  4. Shooters must wear eye and hearing protection while shooting.
  5. Never extend any part of your body forward of the firing line for any reason.
  6. No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs is permitted on the range.
  7. Range safety officer instructions must be obeyed at all times.

Military vehicles

Take a ride down to the shooting range in the massive 10 foot tall, 25ft long, US Army M923 A2 military transport vehicle. Our 1991 M923 A2 was manufactured by BMY Harsco and features a Cummins 8.3 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine, Allison 5 Speed Automatic Transmission, and it even has a snorkleized intake and exhaust that enables it to operate indefinitely under up 9ft of water. It also has a central tire inflation system (CTIS) that gives the operator the ability to inflate or deflate the pressure of the tires from inside the cab with the press of a button. This enables the vehicle to optimize performance to various driving terrain ranging from ice/snow and sand, to pavement.
